You lot may not think it, but the professors are just as anxious to get out for the hols as you are. Or maybe it's just me. Any cheeky students care to remind me why I assigned so many inches of scrolls? Maybe you'll get some points for effort.

I may abolish papers next term. And not just because I'm a lazy man who can't be bothered to read heaps of scrolls. I have my reasons, thanks very much. It's not my style of teaching and it's not practical for Defense.

No one is going to care a toff about how Red Caps foretell disasters when they're confronted with one.

Of all the things I missed the most about Hogwarts, pumpkin pasties were high up there on the list. If any of you had what it takes to cut me, I'd bleed pumpkin. That's how much I scoffed down.

I may need to start a dueling club to work all this pumpkin off.

Reckon this calls for another role call. Lily, James, Rosier, myself, and who else? I'm phenomenal and everything, but four's still falling short of the number needed to pull this off successfully.

If I have to wait any longer, I may do something reckless, and no one wants Sirius Black to be reckless.

Snow's a fantastic thing, isn't it? You get to freeze your bollocks off and burn your tongue with hot cocoa and make muddy snow angels and all sorts of brilliant things.

I could think of a thousand magnificent things to do with snow. Or in the snow. The latter would be reserved for adult eyes only, of course.

Holiday fell short of mind-blowingly fantastic. Disappointing to be sure, but that's more thanks to time constraints than anything else. I'll be needing to return soon to properly enjoy it all. Mayhaps I'll bring someone with me next time.

What's important is that I'm back and my arse has never looked better. I also managed to find a new product to sell.

I would like to expect more unexpected visitors on my doorstep. Anyone, you're welcome over. Well, make that anyone without a beaky nose, greasy hair, and the foul stench of potion fumes following them wherever they stalk about. It would take ages to get the odor and grease off the furniture. Simply can't have that.

If not, I may just say bugger all this for a lark and go to Costa Rica. I'd fancy a tan. I don't think my two arse cheeks have properly seen the light of day in a year or so.
